October's Charitable Organization
Foothills Country Hospice offers a serene, country setting where residents and their loved ones receive exemplary end-of-life and bereavement care. Our eight bed, 13,500 sq. ft. rural hospice home is located 1.5 km north of Okotoks on an 8-acre parcel of land, neighbouring golden canola fields & nestled among forested landscapes with mountain views. There is no charge to residents for their stay or meals. Alberta Health Services contributes 57% towards our annual operating budget and we are challenged with fundraising the remaining $1.3 Million shortfall.
Join them Saturday, October 29 as they raise funds for end-of-life care in the Foothills! Guests will enjoy an incredible evening of philanthropy, complete with an elegant carved prime rib dinner, live auction and live entertainment.
The High River District Health Care Foundation provides their donors and volunteers with a means to support health care and wellness in our community. Through the support of their donors they prudently fund health care equipment, programs and education.
Money raised at the event will go to the Foundation's efforts to make no-fee cable available in all acute care areas of the hospital and provide patients with some entertainment while they're there.
